Coordinate work activities to deliver functioning dynamometer hardware and software for vehicle programs
Create powertrain dynamometer facility and hardware specifications
Plan and execute dynamometer test bed capability upgrades
Design dynamometer control systems, electrical systems, and model-in-the-loop integrations
Collaborate with dynamometer technicians, feature engineers, modeling engineers, and calibration development engineers to deliver program support through dynamometer workstreams in support of program vehicle calibration
Maintain dynamometer JIRA/Confluence system as an administrator
Generate test plan execution and timing
Provide customer service for vehicle propulsion systems engineering commodity calibration teams
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field of study
1+ years of experience performing testing on HIL
1+ years of calibration experience in on board diagnostics, functional safety, and/or electrified powertrain calibration
Experience with python scripting experience in a HIL environment (preferred)
Experience with Microsoft Visio and electrical CAD software (ex. ORCAD, Altium, Zuken E3, Eagle, etc.) (preferred)
Experience with dSpace HIL electrical system design (preferred)
Experience with dSpace software suite (preferred)
Experience coordinating powertrain prototype builds for HIL (preferred)
Experience in the areas of big/large data analytics, MATLAB, Simulink, and LabVIEW (preferred)
Experience with ATI Vision calibration software and toolsets (preferred)
