About the role
- The Releasing Analyst is responsible for managing the interface between our supply base and the various Parts Supply and Logistics (PS&L)/Supply Chain Management (SCM) systems (SAP/SNC, MMP, SDS, Super-G), ensuring our suppliers adhere to our established processes and ship to the schedules provided.
- Hold reoccurring meetings with high VOR/backorder/behind schedule/poor performing suppliers to obtain promise ship dates at the part level and drive overall supplier improvement and development
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement through data analysis
- Escalate supplier issues cross-functionally (e.g. Production/Service Purchasing, Product Analysis, Quality, Engineering, Material Planning & Logistics, etc.)
- Support Sales & Marketing, CX (Customer Experience) initiatives, and other FCSD Transformation projects while working with Ford/Lincoln dealers, as required.
Requirements
- BA/BS Degree Required
- Experience working in supply chain with materials and parts
- Knowledge of PS&L systems preferred, primarily SAP SCM
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work with large cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Ability to multi-task, strong problem-solving, conflict management skills
- Outstanding interpersonal, team building, and communication skills
- Degree in Supply Chain Degree Preferred
