About the role

  • Develop and oversee comprehensive integration strategies and plans for all mergers and acquisitions, including JVs, strategic alliances and partnerships.
  • Support the due diligence process led by Corporate Development to identify integration opportunities, challenges, and risks.
  • Define integration objectives, success metrics, and timelines in collaboration with business unit leadership.
  • Direct and manage cross-functional integration teams, ensuring effective execution of integration activities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all integration-related matters, providing guidance and support to stakeholders.
  • Monitor integration progress, proactively addressing any issues or deviations from the plan.
  • Facilitate communication and change management initiatives to support a smooth transition.
  • Ensure that all integration activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Drive synergy identification and realization, focusing on cost-saving and value-enhancing opportunities.
  • Report on integration status, progress, and outcomes to the executive team and board of directors.
  • Lead post-integration evaluation to ensure that strategic goals are achieved and sustained.
  • Mentor and develop a team of integration managers and specialists.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • Strong experience in M&A, post-merger integration, transaction advisory, or strategy roles.
  • Combination of management consulting experience (e.g. top tier or Big 4) and inhouse corporate experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience leading teams or complex workstreams in matrixed, international environments.
