Lead cross-functional decisions with Ford & Supplier leadership to drive resolution of open issues
Implement actions to ensure zero vehicle losses from suppliers
Principal for on-site troubleshooting and corrective actions for emergency supplier situations

Requirements

Bachelor of Science/ Engineering, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
Be proficient in English, both written and oral, when working with global teams
Knowledge of manufacturing process(es) of the responsible component commodities of engine and castings
Commodity experience in Steering and Automated/Manual Assembly Processes
Ability to develop and present materials to leadership on short notice
Ability to lead resolution of manufacturing, quality, and/or capacity issues on-site with suppliers
Ability to travel in the US, Canada, and Mexico approximately 75-80% of the time.
Knowledge of Problem-Solving tools and Quality Systems (ex. IATF) and Quality tools
