About the role

  • Lead the end-to-end management of GDI&A's Quarterly Learning Goal (e.g., "Drive Value Together Learning Goal"), including planning, communication, execution (facilitating and/or delivering sessions, and achievement tracking for salaried employees (General Salary Roll & Leadership Level 6).
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive learning dashboards and reporting mechanisms to track progress, measure impact, and communicate key insights to stakeholders (LL6+).
  • Ensure learning programs directly align with GDI&A's objectives for building platform capabilities and driving business impact.
  • Oversee the management and optimization of key learning platforms (e.g., Udemy), including license administration, content integration, user support, and pathway development to maximize engagement and value.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across GDI&A (e.g., Power BI, AI Agents, Big Query COE) to identify critical skill gaps and curate relevant technical and professional learning content.
  • Design and facilitate "Role Expectation Learning Pathways" to guide employee development, ensuring alignment with performance standards for various roles (e.g., Product Manager, Data Engineer, Data Analyst).
  • Plan, organize, and execute high-impact learning events, seminars, and workshops (e.g., Ford Analytics & AI Research Seminar Series, Hackathons, Citizens Development Training, BigQuery, Power BI).
  • Develop and implement multi-channel communication plans to effectively promote learning opportunities, drive participation, and ensure broad awareness of resources across GDI&A.
  • Manage and update internal learning portals (e.g., SharePoint, Viva, Teams) to ensure information is accessible, current, and aligned with Ford brand standards.
  • Foster strong partnerships with internal teams (e.g., Power BI development, AI teams, Learning Discovery Group) and external vendors to integrate learning solutions and support broader organizational initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation in learning delivery and resource utilization to ensure cost-effectiveness and increased awareness of available L&D resources.
  • Act as a central point of contact and advocate for employee learning needs within GDI&A.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in learning & development, program management, or instructional design, preferably within a large, complex organization or technology-driven environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, from conception to completion, with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in developing engaging communications for diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS), content curation tools, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI) for reporting and analytics.
  • 10 years of experience in learning & development, program management, or instructional design, preferably within a large, complex organization or technology-driven environment (preferred).
  • Passion for continuous learning and fostering a culture of growth (preferred).
  • Proactive, self-starter with a problem-solving mindset and ability to work autonomously (preferred).
  • Strong collaboration skills, and ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels (preferred).
  • Experience in the automotive or technology sector is a plus (preferred).
  • Familiarity with modern adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies (preferred).
