About the role
- Drive the Electrification platform and product roadmaps, with a deep understanding of EV market trends, charging interoperability standards, hardware planning and development, embedded software systems, and cloud applications and services.
- Guide engineering project managers and delivery teams in adopting reliable and scalable charging solutions, ensuring alignment with platform strategies and vehicle milestones.
- Partner with systems engineering and safety teams to ensure robust functional safety (ISO 26262) and cybersecurity compliance and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and maintain integrated schedules, dependency maps, and risk mitigation plans across Electrification feature sets.
- Ensure timely delivery of Electrified capabilities aligned with vehicle launch timelines, regulatory requirements, and digital product commitments.
- Build strong relationships with engineering, product, digital design, engineering project managers, manufacturing, and supplier teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
- Influence senior leadership and stakeholders to align on priorities, trade-offs, and strategic direction.
- Facilitate cross-organizational collaboration to resolve technical and programmatic challenges.
- Work with Product Development team by following Ford Global Product Development Schedule (GPDS)
- Communicate program status, scorecards risks, and decisions clearly and effectively to executive leadership and technical teams.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance program execution, quality, and velocity.
Requirements
- Bachelors or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- Proven experience as a senior leader in Technical Program Management, preferably with electric vehicle product development or automotive embedded systems experience.
- Strong technical background in systems engineering, software development, and hardware integration.
- Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional programs across multiple vehicle platforms.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Executive presence and the ability to influence and guide senior leadership.
