About the role
- Architect & Implement: Lead the design and deployment of end-to-end analytics solutions using AEP Data Collection (Tags), ensuring seamless data flow across web, mobile, and off-line touchpoints.
- Modernize Implementation: Drive the migration from legacy AppMeasurement libraries to the Adobe Experience Platform Web/Mobile SDK (Alloy.js) and implement Server-Side Event Forwarding.
- Data Layer Governance: Define and maintain standardized schemas (XDM) and event-driven data layers (ACDL) to ensure consistency across the Ford enterprise.
- Privacy & Compliance: Ensure global compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and evolving privacy standards while maintaining ability to track site behaviors. (i.e., One Trust)
- Strategic Measurement: Partner with stakeholders to translate complex business KPIs into technical Solution Design References (SDR) and Technical Design Documents (TDD).
- Optimization & Testing: Support the Global Digital Product teams by implementing complex A/B and multivariate tests via Adobe Target, ensuring data integration with Adobe Analytics/AEP.
- Technical Leadership: Conduct code reviews, maintain documentation, and provide mentorship to junior developers and agency partners.
- Advanced Troubleshooting: Use browser developer tools, Ominbug, and Adobe Assurance to debug complex implementation issues across platforms.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in digital analytics implementation (3+ years specifically within the Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem)
- Technical Mastery: 2+ years of experience in Adobe Platform Data Collection (Tags/Launch).
- Development Skills: 2+ years of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, CSS, and jQuery skills. Ability to write custom code to extend standard tracking capabilities.
- Data Architecture: 2+ years of understanding of JSON, XDM (Experience Data Model), and event-driven data layer architecture.
- SDK Knowledge: 2+ years of hands-on experience with AEP Web SDK and Mobile SDK (Edge Network).
- Analytics Tools: 2+ years of experience in Analysis Workspace, Adobe Admin Console, and Adobe Report Builder.
- Agile: 2+ years of experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment with tools like Jira and GitHub.
