About the role
- Support plant requirements for replacement batteries.
- Support claims for warranty on batteries that have prematurely failed.
- Complete benchmarking of equipment brands, chemistry and technologies to provide optimal solutions for various manufacturing requirements.
- Manage technology guidelines for battery management systems and charging systems, ensuring compliance with Ford Motor Company IT requirements.
- Utilize battery charging data to support analysis and development of associated KPI's.
- Maintain positive working relationships with key suppliers, and benchmark industries to generate and maintain competitive advantage.
Requirements
- Bachelor in Engineering, or related field, or related degree, or applicable technical equivalency experience, or a combination of equivalent experience and education
- 3-5 years of experience within an automotive environment
- Project manager experience
- Knowledge of 8D methodologies
- Data analysis experience
- Great problem solving and quality results mindset.
- Ability to travel (<10%)
