About the role

  • Support plant requirements for replacement batteries.
  • Support claims for warranty on batteries that have prematurely failed.
  • Complete benchmarking of equipment brands, chemistry and technologies to provide optimal solutions for various manufacturing requirements.
  • Manage technology guidelines for battery management systems and charging systems, ensuring compliance with Ford Motor Company IT requirements.
  • Utilize battery charging data to support analysis and development of associated KPI's.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with key suppliers, and benchmark industries to generate and maintain competitive advantage.

Requirements

  • Bachelor in Engineering, or related field, or related degree, or applicable technical equivalency experience, or a combination of equivalent experience and education
  • 3-5 years of experience within an automotive environment
  • Project manager experience
  • Knowledge of 8D methodologies
  • Data analysis experience
  • Great problem solving and quality results mindset.
  • Ability to travel (<10%)
