About the role

  • Able to integrate ebeams into existing and future electric and series PHEV vehicle architectures.
  • Provide technical system support throughout all phases of the vehicle program to ensure robust system engineering and program execution and performance.
  • Work with program team to understand the required functional and physical properties of a ebeam system.
  • Ensure linkage to system DFMEA and manufacturing PFMEA.
  • Work with Tier 1 supplier, Vehicle Engineering and Vehicle Controls team to ensure system / subsystem interfaces delivery.
  • Identifies, tracks, and resolves engineering issues to deliver key program milestone to support overall readiness.
  • Support program launches.

Requirements

  • Bachelors ’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
  • 5+ years of experience of ePowertrain system engineering or vehicle electrification in an Automotive domain.
  • Master’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or similar (even better).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships with all functions and levels across the organization.
  • Vehicle system level test experience for electro-mechanical modules.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively on projects and assignments.
  • Manage to work with suppliers for design and system engineering.
