About the role
- Developer Infrastructure & Toolchain: Implement scalable CI/CD pipeline infrastructure, source code management systems, and repository mirroring solutions that enhance developer efficiency across the software development lifecycle.
- Build Automation & Integration: Oversee the deployment and maintenance of build automation tooling, artifact repository systems, and containerization strategies for development and deployment environments.
- System Administration & Optimization: Manage large-scale Artifactory instances, implement LDAP and SSO integration with development tools, and optimize system performance for high-availability developer infrastructure.
- Monitoring & Security: Implement comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems for development infrastructure while ensuring security best practices across CI/CD pipelines and development tools.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with development teams across geographies and time zones to identify productivity bottlenecks, gather requirements, and implement scalable solutions that improve the overall software development experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, STEM, or equivalent professional experience.
- 6+ years of experience in developer productivity engineering, DevOps, or related software infrastructure roles.
- Strong scripting experience in Python and Bash with expertise in automation and infrastructure management.
- Experience managing GitHub or GitLab replicas with deep understanding of Git internals and version control strategies.
- Proficiency with containerization technologies including Docker, Podman, and Buildah for development and deployment workflows.
- Hands-on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI.

- Master's degree in Computer Science or other STEM focus areas with prior experience as an embedded software developer.
- Experience with Android repo tools, Gerrit API, and advanced code review systems.
- ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) expertise for logging and monitoring of development infrastructure.
- Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform or Pulumi for scalable infrastructure management.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their DevOps services in enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of security best practices for CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
