About the role
- Evaluate, prioritize, and select Capital Investment Budget (CIB) requests to ensure alignment with the annual budget and organizational strategic priorities.
- Coordinate the collection and consolidation of annual project submissions across Maintenance, Modernization, and Controls Obsolescence workstreams.
- Prioritize operational needs and allocate funding across North American Powertrain and Prototype facilities based on project criticality and resource availability.
- Identify planning requirements for Critical Asset Failure Mitigation (CAFM) and ensure alignment with Operations, Maintenance Strategy, and Asset Planning (MSAP).
- Lead the prioritization, coordination, and budget validation of CAFM project submissions.
- Review project submissions for CAFM, M&M, Controls Obsolescence, and PTOME, actively contributing to monthly approved project status reviews.
- Track and maintain accurate project records in SharePoint and SAP, and collaborate with WAVE stakeholders to ensure milestone visibility and reporting accuracy.
- Support preparation of annual CAFM elements for the 5‑Year Cycle Plan in collaboration with Finance, Operations, and MSAP.
- Maintain a robust and continuous process to monitor project status and implement updates driven by cycle plan adjustments, study requirements, and equipment‑related issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, with Business/Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of Experience in capital planning, project management, or asset management.
