About the role

  • Transform complex data sets, technical architectures, and research findings into clear, compelling infographics and diagrams.
  • Execute high-quality visual assets for executive presentations, including storyboards, user journey maps, and conceptual interface mockups.
  • Assist the Lead Designer in building out presentation decks, ensuring a logical flow, visual consistency, and alignment with Ford’s brand voice.
  • Maintain and evolve the team’s visual library, templates, and design systems to ensure rapid and consistent output across multiple projects.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams to quickly iterate on visual concepts based on evolving technical constraints or user feedback.
  • Ensure all communication materials are accurate, typographically sound, and visually polished before they reach internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Information Design, Communication Design, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in a design-heavy role (Agency, Corporate Innovation, or Product Design).
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or related design software.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing Information Design (the ability to make complex things simple) and a high level of craft in typography and layout.
  • Demonstrated ability to take a "brief" and translate it into multiple visual options.
