About the role
- Act as the "Voice of the Customer": Bridge the gap between IT and skill teams, transcending business and IT perspectives to translate complex needs into technical solutions.
- Lead System Evolution: Drive process design, coordinate system changes, and spearhead testing for SAP Ariba and related procurement platforms.
- Provide SME Expertise: Support user queries, ensure robust audit compliance, and champion user adoption.
- Navigate Complexity & Influence: Thrive in "white space" environments by leveraging strong communication skills to present to leadership, managing shifting priorities with an open mind, and using critical thinking to drive change.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2 + years of experience in Indirect procurement, either as a buyer or a user involved in the procurement process.
- 1+ year experience in business systems analysis and process mapping (e.g., Visio, Miro, or similar mapping tools)
- Availability to work hybrid (4 days in Dearborn & 1 day optional remote)
- Analytical Excellence: Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to dissect complex problems, navigate "white space" or ambiguous environments, and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Communication & Influence: Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to bridge the gap between business and IT perspectives and effectively present complex information to senior leadership.
- Logical Problem Solving: Ability to understand the ‘under the hood’ logic of enterprise software and how data moves between systems.
- Business Acumen: Deep understanding of Indirect and supply chain processes with a proven ability to lead change and challenge the status quo.
- Adaptability & Mindset: A proactive, open-minded professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, manages shifting priorities with resilience, and demonstrates meticulous attention to detail
