About the role
- Manage supply chain from Americas, European & AP supplier base to various manufacturing plants through Export Distribution Centers.
- Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, EDCs, and various internal departments within FORD (purchasing, transport, PPM, PVT, STA).
- Generate and analyze critical part list from CMMS3 and liaise with suppliers on daily basis for shipments.
- Arrange airfreight of critical parts for customer plants as per procedures in a timely manner.
- Analyze and allocate cost responsibility for each airfreight and get concurrence from relevant parties.
- Ensure supplier/part resourcing is done effectively and updated in the system after consultation.
- Highlight potential production risks and communicate issues on common parts/commodities.
- Co-ordinate contingency plans, shut downs, strikes, etc., with suppliers, EDCs, and customers.
- Monitor and assist suppliers on data integrity issues to avoid criticality due to discrepancies.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 - 6 years of experience
- BE (preferably with MBA)
- Manufacturing - Supply Chain / Logistics / Procurement expertise
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Knowledge in corporate MRP systems
- Good analytical skills
- Operation skills on Alteryx, Power BI / QlikSense / GCP an advantage
- Knowledge of MS Office is essential.
