Analyze engineering-released assemblies and components, performing appropriate service disposition to determine and release the necessary parts for vehicle repair
Conduct in-depth analysis of various technical resources, including but not limited to WERS data, 2D2D technical drawings, CAD data, Bills of Material (BOMs), Product Direction Letters (PDLs), and marketing information, to define the required service part levels
Partner with engineering teams to address service level concerns, ensuring that serviceability requirements are considered and integrated throughout the product development lifecycle
Author descriptive text and collaborate with illustrators to create clear and accurate service catalog displays, facilitating precise identification of service part requirements for dealership networks
Respond to inquiries from internal Ford teams and suppliers, providing expert guidance and actively assisting in resolving service part availability issues to minimize vehicle downtime
Perform ongoing maintenance and updates of service catalog data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with current engineering specifications and product changes
Requirements
High School Graduate or equivalent
2+ Years-Demonstrated ability to interpret 2D/3D technical drawings and CAD data
Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet established deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred: An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred; however, equivalent professional experience in the automotive service or parts industry will be considered
Preferred: Familiarity with Ford-specific systems such as WERS, CMMS, TeamCenter, and Part Control/MMP is highly preferred
Preferred: In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel and proficiency with data analysis tools such as Access or Alteryx is preferred
