About the role
- Develop methodology to set Reliability goals.
- Create frameworks and methods used to develop Reliability test plans.
- Work to integrate Reliability into all phases of vehicle and component development.
Requirements
- BS in Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of automotive engineering experience
- 2+ years of experiences in the following:
- Delivering project objectives while working with cross-functional teams
- Using Global 8D processes for problem solving
- Using FordLLM for data and customer verbatim analysis
- Using Quality.AI systems for issue analysis and warranty investigations, specifically claims clustering tool and MWATS
- Using data analysis for identifying cost opportunities in warranty
- Leading large open forum strategy meetings
- Ensuring prevent recurrence through department training on new tools and systems
- Representing product development in meetings with suppliers
- Sifting through various noise factors to determine root causes
- Performing NVH analysis to replicate customer concerns
- Representing product development for process changes in active manufacturing environments
- MS Office competency and Minitab Competency
- Experience with Atlassian Jira SIMPSN for quality reporting and project tracking
- Using ROCOF to prioritize warranty work steams
