About the role
- Enforcing and supporting fire protection standards and processes within Ford.
- Collaborating with Corporate Fire Protection Engineering, Ford Land, Safety, and other internal skill teams.
- Managing risk based on recognized internal processes, technology, and resources.
- Supporting a proactive, consultative, and business-aligned culture and approach to Ford Motor Company Global Security & Fire deliverables.
- Providing input and support as a technical subject matter expert to Ford facilities throughout the U.S. and Canada.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Fire Protection Engineering, Bachelor of Science, Risk Management, Fire Science, or a related field, with three (3) years of fire protection experience or a combination of education and work experience.
- In-depth knowledge and experience of fire protection and prevention principles related to risk management.
- Excellent knowledge of fire codes and standards.
- Experience with 3rd party service management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills (soft skills).
- Demonstrated ability to:

- - Administer duties and responsibilities with precise attention to detail.

- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as operational need dictates, respond to emergencies, and travel domestically.
