About the role
- Execute carbon neutrality workstreams and partner with the global team to develop strategies that achieve near- and long-term climate targets.
- Lead the development and timely submission of required climate-related disclosures, performing rigorous data reviews to guarantee accuracy and completeness.
- Develop comprehensive climate-related risk assessments, including physical and transition risks, to satisfy current and future regulatory requirements.
- Accelerate the implementation of tools to increase the efficiency and precision of future sustainability reporting.
- Deliver ongoing Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) to fulfill regulatory mandates and respond to customer transparency requests.
- Innovate ESG data management by identifying and implementing opportunities for automation, including the integration of AI and other technologies.
- Propel Ford’s strategies and ambitions regarding sustainable materials by collaborating with key stakeholders in Supply Chain Sustainability and Research & Innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or environmental science.
- 3+ years of experience in project management.
- 3+ cross-functional collaboration with teams such as Supply Chain, Product Development, and Research & Analytics.
- Strong interest in sustainability is preferred.
- Product development experience preferred.
- Effective oral and written communication and presentation capabilities across a broad range of organizations and management levels globally, including vice presidents.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Self-motivated and ability to work in an unstructured environment.
- Ability to work cross-functionally, within Ford and with external entities.
- Strong relationship building.
