About the role
- Lead experience design project teams using design thinking methods to create vehicle experience concepts that solve for explicit and latent user needs while ensuring business success
- Ensure the human is at the center of all decisions by representing the user’s voice on project teams, acting as an interpreter of their values, needs and motivations
- Connect user insights to opportunities and solutions through design principles, journey maps, use case scenarios, jobs-to-be-done, and other strategy and design methods
- Clearly and persuasively communicate design recommendations to leaders and diverse stakeholders to create excitement and demonstrate the “why” behind the experiences
- Bring concepts to life by collaborating with partner teams to complete key deliverables for product development process milestones
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Industrial Design, Human Factors, Research, Anthropology, or related field
- 7+ years of relevant work experience in the design, development and launch of B2B or B2C facing physical products through human-centered design methods
- Master’s in Industrial Design, Human Factors, Research, Anthropology, or related field (even better)
- 2+ years' experience leading project teams (even better)
