About the role

  • Lead overall design, validation, and launch of fuel delivery modules.
  • Monitor warranty trends for launched fuel delivery modules.
  • Develop and maintain core quality documents such as ESOW’s, Design Rules, SCCAF’s.
  • Be primary point of contact with FDM supplier, managing weekly open issues reviews.
  • Support issue resolution including data collection and analysis to support root cause confirmation and corrective actions
  • Develop DV & PV plans and manage validation testing to support engineering milestone signoffs
  • Communicate status and issues to broad audience including senior management and program teams
  • Support STA for APQP and Launch Readiness Reviews.
  • Support SREA review and approval process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • 2 years of design and release experience.
  • 1+ year of Fuel Systems and launch experience.
  • Even better, you may have...
  • Master's degree in engineering.
  • Proficiency in the usage of D&R tools such as WERS, Teamcenter, FEDE, Global 8D, DFMEA, DVP&R, PV, APQP Reviews, and AIMs.
  • Self-starter with excellent communication skills who can look ahead for the GPDS program deliverables, develop a workplan and drive the process both inside of Ford and with the supply base to meet the deliverables.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for complex issues using a data-driven approach.
  • Familiarity with fuel system components, materials, and their manufacturing processes is desired.
  • Strong organizational skills.
