About the role
- Lead overall design, validation, and launch of fuel delivery modules.
- Monitor warranty trends for launched fuel delivery modules.
- Develop and maintain core quality documents such as ESOW’s, Design Rules, SCCAF’s.
- Be primary point of contact with FDM supplier, managing weekly open issues reviews.
- Support issue resolution including data collection and analysis to support root cause confirmation and corrective actions
- Develop DV & PV plans and manage validation testing to support engineering milestone signoffs
- Communicate status and issues to broad audience including senior management and program teams
- Support STA for APQP and Launch Readiness Reviews.
- Support SREA review and approval process.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- 2 years of design and release experience.
- 1+ year of Fuel Systems and launch experience.

- Master's degree in engineering.
- Proficiency in the usage of D&R tools such as WERS, Teamcenter, FEDE, Global 8D, DFMEA, DVP&R, PV, APQP Reviews, and AIMs.
- Self-starter with excellent communication skills who can look ahead for the GPDS program deliverables, develop a workplan and drive the process both inside of Ford and with the supply base to meet the deliverables.
- Strong problem-solving skills for complex issues using a data-driven approach.
- Familiarity with fuel system components, materials, and their manufacturing processes is desired.
- Strong organizational skills.
