About the role
- Lead warranty failure analysis and resolution.
- Support detailed design reviews with suppliers, to optimize and ensure high quality design meeting Ford’s standards.
- Drive continuous improvements in products and internal processes.
- Lead R/1000 reduction year over year
- Review Connected Vehicle data and Dealer Claims to drive warranty reduction
- Go-To for Problem Solving – Launch, Recall, Quality / Field Issues.
- Interface with Display Application Engineers globally.
- Ability to work in a cross functional team and influence delivery organizations backlog of work to prioritize and deliver quality.
- Must have strong problem-solving skills and able to work well in cross functional teams to deliver software and hardware changes.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent degree
- 5+ years of experience specialty with display design and validation.
- Must possess deep technical background in display trouble shooting and failure analysis.
- Experienced in Electronic Module Quality disciplines and processes.
- Excellent program management skills, mentoring skills
- Must possess strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong supplier relationship skills.
- MS Degree in engineering or equivalent degree (Even better)
- Experience in measuring display optical performance (Even better)
- Experience working in LCD manufacturing environment (Even better)
