About the role
- Managing the interface between our supply base and the various Parts Supply and Logistics (PS&L)/Supply Chain Management (SCM) systems (SAP/SNC, MMP, SDS, Super-G)
- Supervise a Demand Analyst and two Third Party Logistics providers who interface with our suppliers on issues such as behind schedule, backorders, Super-G performance, and Vehicles Off-Road
- Escalate Supplier Performance for all suppliers in the assigned department as needed
- Hold reoccurring meetings with high VOR/backorder/behind schedule/poor performing suppliers to obtain promise ship dates at the part level and drive overall supplier improvement and development
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement through data analysis
- Ensure MCRP compliance via annual audits and certification
- Escalate supplier issues cross-functionally (e.g. Production/Service Purchasing, Product Analysis, Quality, Engineering, Material Planning & Logistics, etc.)
- Support Sales & Marketing, CX (Customer Experience) initiatives, and other FCSD Transformation projects while working with Ford/Lincoln dealers, as required
Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
- 3+ years of supply chain, purchasing or related experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work with large cross-functional teams and remotely supervise
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with the ability to multi-task
- Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills
- Outstanding interpersonal, team building, and communication skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain
- 1+ years of project management experience
- Knowledge of PS&L systems, primarily SAP SCM
- Working knowledge of 8-D process
