About the role

  • Promote Footballco’s media, content and strategy propositions to relevant media agency and client contacts with regular calls, meetings and proactive work
  • Secure briefs and work with our Strategy Team to produce first class proposals and win business
  • Manage campaigns, upsell where possible and secure repeat business
  • Identify opportunities and develop media and branded content packages around major soccer tournaments and editorial tentpoles
  • Work in collaboration with our global sales organization to target relevant US-based brand leads and ensure we are communicating with all key decision makers globally, with agencies and clients alike

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years Digital media agency and client-direct sales experience
  • Demonstrated ability to make 10+ sales calls per week and a solid reputation in the market as a consultative seller capable of exceeding targets
  • Multiple contacts across the US media agency and client landscape, with an emphasis on New York-based agencies
  • A proven record in driving revenue from new spenders and converting them to repeat spenders
  • Experience in pitching complex branded content partnerships, video, unique ad formats and standard media
  • Preferably: Work within the soccer space, or sports industry at-large, with a working knowledge of the vast US media landscape.
