About the role

  • Own and align the product vision and roadmap across multiple squads/products, ensuring delivery of commercial outcomes and customer value at scale,
  • Leading discovery and delivery, by leveraging data and customer insights to guide decisions and evaluate outcomes - thereby advancing our commitment to becoming a data-driven organisation.
  • Mentoring and inspiring Product Owners, fostering collaboration and continuously evolving ways of working and a learning culture.
  • Ensuring product backlogs are prioritised, well refined, and equipped with clear acceptance criteria to deliver business impact.
  • Acting as a key escalation point for product challenges, removing blockers, and keeping delivery momentum strong.
  • Building strong relationships across the business to connect people, ideas, and outcomes.
  • Ensuring your team is set up for success with the right capacity, focus, and engagement to deliver exceptional results.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years in product management, with proven experience leading multiple squads/products in Agile settings, ideally in FMCG or retail.
  • Experience mentoring/ guiding Product Owners and establishing effective Product Owner practices, including developing appropriate frameworks and helping our teams and stakeholders understand the value of a Product Owner
  • Strong experience leading teams and managing performance to deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to translate ideas into impactful, business aligned solutions.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and planning skills, able to inspire alignment and clearly articulate product vision, strategy, and delivery plans.
  • Deep business acumen with the ability to understand strategy, build relationships, and make value focused trade-off decisions.
  • Technical fluency, ideally with SAP retail experience, and a solid understanding of business processes, data structures, and modern development practices.
  • Proven leadership and mentoring skills, with experience guiding multiple squads/ products in an Agile environment.
  • A track record of delivering successful products in fast-paced environments, balancing speed with quality and operational excellence.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, adaptability, and a preference for face-to-face collaboration where possible.
