About the role
- Develop, refine, and execute the financial strategy of the Bank in alignment with overall organizational goals.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with the CFO to ensure financial strategies comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Complete comprehensive budgets and forecasts for assigned business units in alignment with the long-term strategy of the Bank.
- Oversee the preparation and distribution of accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and key performance indicators.
- Implement and maintain robust financial reporting systems to provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather relevant financial data and ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and evaluate the financial performance of the Bank.
- Work closely with department heads to analyze performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and overall financial performance.
- Collaborate with risk management teams to assess and mitigate financial risks.
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry trends affecting financial risk, and ensure the Bank's financial strategies are adaptive and compliant.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- CPA or CFA certification is highly desirable.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in a finance role within the banking or financial services sector.
- In-depth knowledge of wealth management operations, financial regulations, and industry best practices.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all organizational levels.
- Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.
