About the role

  • The Systems Administrator is responsible for the end-to-end management of designated systems applications and their supporting infrastructure.
  • This role combines technical expertise with business acumen to ensure optimal system performance, reliability, and continuous improvement.
  • The specialist works collaboratively with stakeholders to implement enhancements, provide technical support, and develop reporting solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Maintain, install and configure system application and supporting infrastructure to meet business objectives.
  • Monitor, patch and deploy changes on the application and supporting infrastructure.
  • Testing application functions and upgrades.
  • Performance, reliability, and maintenance of assigned application(s) including completion of upgrades and implementations.
  • Work closely with capability owners, business units, and third-party vendors to support system enhancements.
  • Provide input into the application roadmap for further improvement and development.
  • Analyze new data requests and create recommendations for the development of new system reports/dashboards.

Requirements

  • Salesforce Admin and/or Platform Developer certified
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or other technology related field or equivalent years of experience
  • 3+ years of experience in information technology environment
  • 1-3 years of Salesforce experience
  • Experience working with third-party vendors (vendor hosted and on premise)
  • Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build collaborative relationships, listen and actively contribute to discussions
  • Good written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills
  • Demonstrate problem solving and analytical skills in order to debug and troubleshoot issues
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to multi-task while adhering to multiple timetables of completion
  • Ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis
