About the role
- The Systems Administrator is responsible for the end-to-end management of designated systems applications and their supporting infrastructure.
- This role combines technical expertise with business acumen to ensure optimal system performance, reliability, and continuous improvement.
- The specialist works collaboratively with stakeholders to implement enhancements, provide technical support, and develop reporting solutions that meet business objectives.
- Maintain, install and configure system application and supporting infrastructure to meet business objectives.
- Monitor, patch and deploy changes on the application and supporting infrastructure.
- Testing application functions and upgrades.
- Performance, reliability, and maintenance of assigned application(s) including completion of upgrades and implementations.
- Work closely with capability owners, business units, and third-party vendors to support system enhancements.
- Provide input into the application roadmap for further improvement and development.
- Analyze new data requests and create recommendations for the development of new system reports/dashboards.
Requirements
- Salesforce Admin and/or Platform Developer certified
- Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or other technology related field or equivalent years of experience
- 3+ years of experience in information technology environment
- 1-3 years of Salesforce experience
- Experience working with third-party vendors (vendor hosted and on premise)
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build collaborative relationships, listen and actively contribute to discussions
- Good written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills
- Demonstrate problem solving and analytical skills in order to debug and troubleshoot issues
- General knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Ability to multi-task while adhering to multiple timetables of completion
- Ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis
