About the role

  • Maintain a clear, prioritized list of problems, opportunities, and bets across target new markets.
  • Describe market and customer problems in simple, concrete language.
  • Lead discovery for new markets and use cases.
  • Conduct structured market, customer, and competitive research.
  • Define clear problem statements, target personas, and success metrics.
  • Develop and champion product vision, narratives, and roadmaps.
  • Work with Design and Engineering to translate validated concepts into MVPs.
  • Run lean experiments, beta programs, and early-access pilots.
  • Evaluate and compare potential new-market offerings.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success for go-to-market plans.
  • Establish and track KPIs and revenue targets for each new-market initiative.
  • Ensure learnings from new markets feed back into core product decisions.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of product management, new markets, or closely related experience in B2B SaaS or a similar environment.
  • Actively embraces AI and modern productivity tools.
  • Comfortability navigating ambiguous markets by framing hypotheses and running structured discovery.
  • The ability to connect customer pain points and competitive landscape to FMX’s overarching strategy.
  • Experience leveraging quantitative and qualitative data to size opportunities.
  • Articulates compelling visions and rationales for new bets through clear storytelling.
  • A passion for engaging deeply with prospects and customers.
  • Prioritizes learning velocity through an experimentation mindset.
  • Works collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Engineering.
  • Approaches issues with a structured, step-by-step methodology.
