About the role

  • Lead and develop engineering teams responsible for building and supporting Global Sports technology platforms
  • Partner with Product, Delivery, Architecture and Operations to deliver technology capabilities aligned with the Global Sports roadmap
  • Contribute to the technology strategy across Global Sportsbook & Trading and help shape the future of Flutter’s global sports capability
  • Ensure platforms are scalable, reliable and capable of supporting large-scale sports data and betting transactions
  • Drive engineering excellence through strong standards, processes and tools across the product delivery lifecycle
  • Champion continuous improvement across engineering practices, team performance and delivery outcomes

Requirements

  • Strong experience leading engineering teams delivering complex, large-scale software platforms
  • Deep understanding of technology delivery within large-scale digital or data-driven environments
  • Experience contributing to technology strategy and translating business objectives into engineering outcomes
  • Strong collaboration with Product, Architecture, Delivery and Operations teams.
  • Proven track record to build and develop high-performing engineering teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in complex organisations
