Lead and manage a global IT team, ensuring effective support, maintenance, and optimization of the company's IT infrastructure across all global offices, including Israel, Ukraine, the Philippines, New York, London, and Tokyo.
Manage the procurement of Data Center equipment, such as servers and network equipment.
Develop the IT budget in conjunction with the finance department, and ensure adherence to the approved budget.
Provide hands-on management of critical IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, and network devices, ensuring high availability and performance.
Oversee day-to-day operations, including the implementation and management of Linux environments, networks (LAN/WAN), and communication systems (VoIP).
Maintain and upgrade existing infrastructure proactively to align with company technology needs.
Collaborate with stakeholders to assess and implement new technology solutions and contribute to company-wide technology strategy.
Provide leadership in IT security, including managing firewalls, VPNs, data encryption, and other security measures to safeguard company data.
Ensure compliance with global data privacy and security regulations.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex software, hardware, and network issues across multiple global locations.
Develop and execute disaster planning and maintain data backups.
Lead and mentor the IT team, promoting continuous learning and professional development.
Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to bring innovative solutions to the organization.
Requirements
Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT
At least 4 years in a managerial and hands-on technical role overseeing global teams
Deep technical experience with Linux
Experience managing network systems (LAN/WAN/VoIP)
Extensive hands-on experience with virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.) and physical servers
Expertise in network infrastructure (switches, routers, communication cabinets)
Experience with security protocols, including firewalls and VPNs
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex software, hardware, and network issues across multiple global locations
Experience developing and executing disaster planning and maintaining data backups
Proven leadership skills and ability to manage and mentor global teams
Fluent in English and Hebrew, both written and spoken
Preferred: Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix) and storage solutions (SAN, NAS)
Preferred: Experience in data privacy and security regulations (GDPR, CCPA)
Preferred: Experience working with remote teams across multiple time zones (e.g., Ukraine, the Philippines)
Preferred: Experience with remote data centers (co-location) and “smart hands” requests
