About the role
- Lead planning and execution of Fluent’s presence at tradeshows, sponsored events, hosted dinners, and brand activations.
- Manage the full event lifecycle — including logistics, vendor coordination, budgets, timelines, and onsite execution.
- Coordinate speaker submissions, executive participation, and supporting materials in partnership with Product Marketing.
- Develop event briefs and messaging outlines to ensure alignment with company positioning.
- Manage event budgets and contracts to ensure programs are delivered on time and within scope.
- Partner with Growth Marketing to support event promotion and post-event reporting.
- Support execution of Fluent’s external communications calendar, including event announcements and company updates.
- Coordinate PR outreach and media engagement in partnership with the Director.
- Draft event-related communications, recaps, and executive talking points.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing to ensure messaging consistency across event materials and communications.
- Own Instagram as a brand storytelling channel, highlighting Fluent’s culture, industry presence, and event moments.
- Partner with Brand Design to ensure all materials reflect Fluent’s visual and verbal identity.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in event marketing, communications, or brand experience — ideally within a B2B or technology environment.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously.
- Experience coordinating vendors, budgets, and logistics for events.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and creative teams.
- Comfort contributing to reporting and tracking performance metrics.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support events.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
