About the role

  • Sales and business development, including the support and indirect management of regional sales teams.
  • Development of growth strategies.
  • Managing customer relationships, improving aftermarket retention and increasing client base.
  • Develop new business models for the service business line.
  • Manage and review business proposals and contracts.
  • Deliver sales training and ongoing support, developing marketing materials.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years within the mineral processing industry.
  • Relevant, direct experience with classification technologies.
  • A high level of understanding of mining wear solutions, specifically polyurethane and rubber manufacturing processes.
  • Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent industry experience.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a technical specialist role with demonstrable success in developing sustainable solutions to support the sales effort.
  • Existing strong network of key stakeholders within the mineral processing industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships both internally and with external clients with strong customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated business acumen to develop realistic business plans with stretch targets.
  • Experienced utilizing ERP database systems is desired i.e., Oracle, Citrix / Epicor, SAP or similar systems
