About the role
- Responsible for all activities that occur within the manufacturing facility.
- Manage the short-term and long-term operations of the plant.
- Ensure plant delivers on expected product quality and output.
- Enforce company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
- Lead achievement of zero-injury workplace by ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Responsible for all aspects of operations and achieving key performance measurements.
- Develop and execute programs to increase productivity through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyze manufacturing variances and implement reduction strategies.
- Oversee preparation of operational schedules to meet production specifications.
- Control costs and eliminate waste in the plant.
Requirements
- 5 – 7 years’ plant management experience in a CPG manufacturing environment.
- Operations/Engineering/Supply Chain Management relevant degree.
