Lead Copywriter / Copy Editor (player-coach) to shape brand voice across campaigns, channels, and platforms.
Collaborate with Marketing, Content, Product, and Design teams to deliver copy for event campaigns, lifecycle and brand campaigns, product launches, and website experiences.
Provide editorial oversight and mentorship to writers; ensure consistency, quality, and brand alignment.
Write and edit copy for email campaigns, landing pages, product launches, brand campaigns, and paid media.
Review and refine copy from internal teams and freelancers, offering constructive feedback and coaching.
Own and maintain brand editorial guidelines; contribute to ideation and messaging strategy for major moments.
Requirements
8–10 years of experience in copywriting, copy editing, or content marketing, ideally with at least 2 years in a lead or editorial capacity.
Strong portfolio showcasing compelling marketing copy and editorial craftsmanship across digital channels.
Experience in sports media, sports marketing, or journalism is required; familiarity with the streaming or subscription landscape is a major plus.
Exceptional editing skills, with a deep understanding of grammar, syntax, and style.
Strong storytelling instincts and the ability to translate complex ideas into concise, engaging copy.
Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities; able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborative and low-ego, with a desire to mentor others and contribute to a high-performance creative team.
