About the role

  • Manage accounting operations for multiple HOA and COA communities
  • Prepare and review monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Reconcile bank accounts and general ledgers
  • Monitor and manage association budgets and reserves
  • Coordinate annual audits and work with external auditors
  • Ensure compliance with Florida HOA/COA financial regulations and best practices
  • Work closely with Community Association Managers (CAMs) and board members on financial matters
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for associations
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

Requirements

  • 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably within HOA/COA or property management
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and general accounting principles
  • Experience with HOA accounting software (e.g., AppFolio, Vantaca, TOPS) is a plus
  • Knowledge of Florida HOA/COA regulations preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneously
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a hybrid environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with internal teams and board members
