About the role

  • Collect and compile HR data from HRIS, ATS, performance management systems, engagement surveys, and other relevant databases.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing data validation and cleansing processes.
  • Maintain and update HR databases and dashboards.
  • Develop and document data management processes and procedures.
  • Analyze HR data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations related to recruitment, retention, performance, compensation, diversity and inclusion, and learning and development.
  • Develop and generate regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards to communicate HR data insights to stakeholders, including HR team members, managers, and senior leadership.
  • Present data findings in a clear, concise, and visually appealing manner using charts, graphs, and other data visualization techniques.
  • Respond to data requests from stakeholders, providing accurate and timely information.
  • Translate data analysis into actionable insights and recommendations to improve HR processes, programs, and strategies.
  • Collaborate with HR stakeholders and other departments to understand data needs and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting processes; support implementation of new HR technologies from a data perspective.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and maintain confidentiality of sensitive HR data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a data analyst role, preferably in an HR context.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, macros).
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
  • Experience working with HRIS and ATS systems.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques and software (e.g., R, Python) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to create clear and compelling data visualizations.
  • Understanding of key HR metrics and their business implications.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
