About the role
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to enhance Micron’s business planning processes.
- Gather requirements from Product Managers and Business Line Managers and translate them into analytical models that support efficient demand forecasting.
- Develop analytics solutions using Python and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Apply statistical methods such as linear regression and classification for forecasting.
- Present findings and recommendations to team members and executives.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Propose innovative and practical solutions to support fact-based decision-making; gain hands-on experience in data architecture, statistical modeling, and process improvement.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology or a related field.
- Must not graduate before September 2024.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Tableau.
- Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server (mentioned in responsibilities).
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in requirement gathering, process modeling, and documentation.
- Familiarity with statistical methods such as linear regression and classification for forecasting.
- Preferred: Experience in business analytics or demand forecasting; familiarity with data architecture and statistical modeling techniques; ability to work independently and collaboratively; interest in improving business processes through data-driven insights.
