About the role
- Take end-to-end ownership of Flipdish’s Managed Marketing service, including performance, customer outcomes, and commercial success
- Review the current service, processes, and tooling to identify opportunities to improve scalability, efficiency, and results
- Define a clear vision for the role of Managed Marketing within the wider Flipdish ecosystem
- Own and oversee PPC performance across multiple customer accounts, primarily Google Ads
- Ensure best-in-class account structure, optimisation, budget allocation, and performance monitoring
- Evaluate current supporting channels such as Google Business Profile optimisation, Google Analytics and managed SMS
- Propose, validate, and support the launch of service extensions, potentially including paid social, social media management, and photography services
- Design and implement scalable onboarding workflows for new Managed Marketing customers
- Transition customer reporting from manual processes to standardised, automated solutions
- Build and maintain reporting dashboards using tools such as Looker Studio, Canva, or similar platforms
- Leverage scripts, APIs, and AI tools to manage accounts, reporting, and insights efficiently at scale
- Own the P&L for Managed Marketing, ensuring the service operates profitably and sustainably
- Build forecasts and capacity models to support growth planning and decision-making
- Partner with finance and leadership to track margins, costs, and service performance
- Define clear ICP criteria and eligibility guidelines for Managed Marketing customers
- Create and enforce guidance for commercial teams on which customers are suitable for managed advertising spend and which are not
- Support sales and account teams with pricing logic, positioning, and expectation setting
- Work with the wider marketing team to increase awareness and adoption of Managed Marketing services
- Define delivery standards, success metrics, and reporting frameworks across the service
- Ensure consistent, high-quality execution across all managed accounts
- Act as the internal subject-matter expert on B2C managed acquisition and performance marketing
- Apply AI and automation tools to improve performance, efficiency, and ROI across managed accounts
- Use automation to reduce manual effort through scripts, APIs, and workflow optimisation
- Apply AI-driven insights pragmatically to campaign optimisation, reporting, and service improvement
- Exercise strong judgement on where automation adds value and where human oversight is required.
Requirements
- 7+ years experience in performance, growth, or digital marketing
- Extensive hands-on PPC experience, particularly Google Ads and META, managing multiple accounts concurrently
- Proven experience building scalable systems for campaign management and reporting
- Experience designing automated reporting using Looker Studio, Canva, or comparable platforms
- Strong commercial awareness, with experience contributing to or owning forecasting, pricing, or profitability decisions
- Experience working freelance or in an agency environment managing multiple clients is a strong advantage
- Experience working with hospitality, restaurant, or takeaway businesses is highly desirable.
