About the role

  • Manage day-to-day operations
  • Oversee scheduling and coordination of all flights
  • Ensure effective management of Aircraft on Ground (AOG) events
  • Handle emergencies or unexpected situations that may arise during flights
  • Monitor and ensure Operations controllers, Schedulers and Crew dispatchers are performing their duties
  • Handle last-minute changes or requests
  • Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and safety standards
  • Oversee the selection and scheduling of flight crews
  • Be the primary escalation point of contact for Owner and Client services
  • Coordinate with aircraft maintenance for scheduled flights
  • Assist in managing operational costs and optimizing resource allocation
  • Maintain accurate records of flight operations and prepare reports
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes
  • Assist in training and development of new employees

Requirements

  • Extensive experience within an aviation environment preferably Business Aviation in a Supervisory role
  • Knowledge of fractional operations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Applications (Word, Excel, & Outlook)
  • Strong understanding of International Operations
  • Experience with worldwide flight planning incl. ETOPS
  • Scheduling experience is a plus
  • Must work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Confidence to optimize flying schedules and identify sell-offs
  • Detail-oriented
  • Excellent oral/written communication and problem resolution skills
  • Further language skills of advantage
