About the role

  • Plan and execute pre-accelerator and accelerator phases with the Program Lead's support.
  • Scout SMEs, experts, mentors, and potential financial institutions.
  • Manage virtual & physical workshops and events.
  • Advise selected SMEs on business development needs.
  • Run needs assessment for selected SMEs.
  • Support SMEs during the program and ensure to respond to all queries or challenges they are facing.
  • Ensure a seamless onboarding/offboarding journey for all SMEs.
  • Collaborate with the UNDP team to disseminate calls for applications.
  • Utilize social media to share the UNDP team's posts.
  • Disseminate calls for applications within the partner network and previous beneficiaries.
  • Organize informational sessions to present the program.
  • Propose outreach strategy in line with UNDP branding guidelines.
  • Attend weekly meetings with the UNDP country office and F6L regional team.
  • Support program communication on social media channels.
  • Ensure timely responses to queries or challenges from entrepreneurs.
  • Record and report startup teams' progress and KPIs accurately.
  • Conduct comprehensive sector analysis in collaboration with UNDP Morocco.
  • Present analysis to the regional team for review and feedback.
  • Ensure adherence to UNDP guidelines and standards.
  • Prepare and manage the final selection committee following guidelines.
  • Provide necessary data and information requested by the donor.
  • Prepare and finalize the accelerator report for approval by the regional team.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration & management, or any other related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in business advisory, finance, and investment or management consulting projects.
  • At least 2 years of facilitation experience (conducting workshops and meetings with company leadership).
  • A good knowledge of the green business environment and processes in Morocco.
  • A good understanding of the Moroccan entrepreneurial ecosystem.
  • Previous coaching experience and working with SMEs are a plus.
  • Fluency in French and Arabic is required, English is preferred.
