About the role
- Manage outsourced labor law firms, conducting in-depth case analysis, reviewing procedural filings and defining legal theories and strategies for individual and collective labor litigation, with strong court representation.
- Handle labor claims end-to-end internally, covering the full workflow from intake and fact‑gathering to drafting pleadings and managing deadlines and hearings.
- Work on collective labor matters, including public civil actions and civil inquiries by the Public Labor Ministry (MPT); collective bargaining, ACTs and CCTs; relationships with unions and associations; labor disputes and mediations.
- Apply Visual Law in both litigation and labor advisory work to standardize, clarify and improve communication efficiency with internal teams and stakeholders.
- Provide legal support to the People & Culture team and related areas, reviewing and validating contracts, amendments, internal policies and documents related to executives, CLT employees and service providers.
- Draft, review, implement and monitor labor policies, including settlement and conciliation policies, appeals, provisions and contingencies, case closure and disposition, and liability prevention guidelines.
- Participate in special and strategic projects such as programs to prevent and reduce labor liabilities, risk mapping and mitigation, and review of hiring and compensation models.
- Support LGPD (Brazilian Data Protection Law) matters, audits and risk management from a labor perspective.
- Handle extrajudicial labor negotiations, including mediations and pre‑litigation negotiations, as well as interactions with regulatory and inspection bodies.
- Participate in strategic and regulatory advisory, assessing labor impacts of new products, operational structures, business expansion and corporate reorganizations.
- Monitor and manage the labor legal budget, analyzing variances, identifying efficiency opportunities and ensuring financial predictability.
- Monitor obligations to perform, reinstatements, enforcement of judgments, TACs (Terms of Conduct Adjustment) and responses to judicial and administrative orders.
Requirements
- Law degree with active OAB registration (Brazilian Bar Association).
- Experience as a Senior Labor Attorney in a corporate or in‑house environment.
- Strong background in strategic labor litigation, preventive counseling and labor case management.
- Experience managing external law firms and legal KPIs/metrics.
- Ability to work closely with the business, with a practical and strategic mindset.
- Experience with collective labor disputes and negotiations (preferred).
- Experience in financial services, payments and technology (preferred).
- Intermediate or advanced English (preferred).
