💰 £44,000 - £47,000 per year
About the role
- Carry out electrical installation, maintenance and testing works as required
- Install, service, maintain & repair solar PV systems
- Demonstrate competence with a wide range of solar PV systems and equipment, including monitoring devices
- Have a good understanding of electrical systems and be able to identify/ report faults
- Interpret electrical / site drawings when necessary
- Ensure all work complies with BS 7671 and BS 2922-34 regulations
- Complete all job reports and certification accurately
- Work safely and in accordance with current Health & Safety legislation and fire safety standards
- Attend and complete all company-provided training
- Participate in performance reviews, improvement programmes, and appraisals
- Liaise effectively with office staff and supervisors to resolve queries
- Adhere to company KPIs and operational standards
- Carry out any other reasonable duties as directed by management
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification
- C&G 2922-34 Level 3 -Installation & Maintenance of Small-Scale PV Systems or equivalent
- Full UK driving licence (held for at least 12 months)
- 18th Edition C&G 2382 or equivalent
- C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing or equivalent
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the electrical industry
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the solar PV industry
