About the role

  • Contribute to the next generation of Five9’s modern SaaS platform
  • Develop highly available, scalable, and reliable microservices
  • Stay updated on industry best practices in API management
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure APIs are well-documented
  • Design, develop, and maintain the API Developer Portal
  • Manage API Gateway solutions for seamless service communication
  • Configure and maintain API Gateway policies and security settings
  • Monitor and analyze API traffic to optimize performance
  • Troubleshoot and provide production support as needed

Requirements

  • 7+ years of related experience
  • Expert in API Gateway, API/Java/Spring
  • Experience with API Gateway (APIGee)
  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining API Developer Portals
  • Experience with Oauth2 is a plus
  • Working experience with major public cloud platforms, preferably GCP
