About the role

  • Assist in the development and execution of the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs
  • Work closely with engineering, other product teams, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product delivery
  • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that it is up-to-date and reflects the current business priorities
  • Develop detailed user stories and establish acceptance criteria to ensure stories are ready for development
  • Run agile ceremonies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that stories meet the definition of done and acceptance criteria
  • Discuss features with internal and external customers, focusing on usability, time to value, feature completeness, and the overall user journey
  • Write and run queries using SQL and other tools to analyze data, validate use cases and product requirements with end users
  • Handle issues with current features and provide solutions based on customer feedback
  • Track and analyze product performance metrics e.g. team productivity, product adoption, feature performance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in product management, product development, or a related role
  • Experience with Fixed Income data and products in financial information services industry, familiarity with data models, databases and data analysis, and experience working with remote teams
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, experience with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello), and data query/analysis systems like SQL
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
