About the role
- Assist members of the team on day-to-day tasks as well as focus on number of specific long-term projects.
- Responsible for auditing and maintaining the accuracy of Procurement internal systems.
- Work closely with Centers of Excellence team to develop detailed documentation (playbooks) for the above listed systems.
- Partner with Supplier Management to identify and complete profiles of regulated suppliers.
- Support Accounts Payable to help enhance payment related operations by auditing suppliers, developing procedure guides, conducting reviews of goods/invoice receipt accounts and identifying and completing profiles of regulated suppliers.
Requirements
- Students attending an accredited university, preferably working towards a degree in business, finance, or economics.
- Self-starter who can understand objectives, work independently, and is highly motivated.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Team oriented, with an ability to effectively build relationships.
- High level of focus on work quality and attention to detail.
- Experience using Open AI ChatGPT, Anthropic Claude, Meta Llama or similar LLM tools.
- Candidates should have strong analytical capabilities coupled with aspirations to develop business acumen.
- Individuals must be self-sufficient and should have familiarity with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with records management principles and practices.
