About the role

  • Support the Corporate, International Public Finance (IPF), and Global Infrastructure Group (GIG) BRM efforts across Eastern, Central, and Southwestern China
  • Conduct outreach activities and support business development efforts
  • Assist originators in preparing marketing materials (generic pitch books, customized decks, case studies, CRA award pitch books)
  • Monitor competitor activities and help identify new business opportunities, win mandates, and retain issuer relationships
  • Engage with issuers and bankers to elevate Fitch’s visibility and generate business
  • Support outreach initiatives including conferences, seminars, one‑on‑one meetings, electronic communication, and analyst meetings
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of the rating process
  • Assist with daily operations: KYC preparation, commercial documentation, and Salesforce updates
  • Coordinate billing activities, track overdue invoices, and communicate with Accounts to ensure timely payments
  • Maintain and track deal flows; prepare monthly activity and issuer coverage reports
  • Support regional management reporting requirements and provide backup coverage when needed

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant marketing or relationship management experience in debt capital markets or banking/financial services
  • A university degree in business, finance, or a related discipline (preferred)
  • Fluency in spoken and written Mandarin Chinese and English
  • Exposure to Bloomberg and strong presentation/negotiation skills
