Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Azure cloud experience - 2 - 3 years of experience in implementing, supporting, administering, and monitoring Azure IaaS and PaaS environments
  • Web hosting experience – 1 - 2 years of experience in designing, implementing and supporting publicly available web applications
  • Strong knowledge in cloud solutions design inc. Virtual Networks, Load Balancing, Front End, Proxy, WAF
  • AKS or Kubernetes experience in implementing, supporting, administering, and monitoring containerized environments
  • Strong knowledge of virtual machines, compute, storage, network components, including backup, monitoring and DR environment requirements
  • Strong knowledge in network design incl. CIDR, VPN, DNS
  • Experience with implementing and maintaining logging and monitoring systems
  • An understanding of vulnerabilities and security in cloud environments
  • Excellent fault-finding skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with maintaining on-prem and cloud-based Splunk instances including ingestion, search and dashboards is great, but not required
  • Understanding of source control systems such as Azure DevOps or Git is great, but not required
