The FIE Institutional Funds Analyst works directly with the Institutional Funds Team Leader, Institutional Management, the Directors of the firm’s funds, custodians, institutional clients/prospects and various internal groups to maintain and create Institutional funds.
Researches and onboards new sub-distributor and database platforms, including contract negotiations, due diligence oversight and operational set-up
Oversees from start to finish the creation of new funds and maintenance of the funds
Uses project management skills to guide projects through completion
Understands and monitors the compliance issues revolving around the institutional industry, unique codes of ethics, and internal requirements
Oversees fund creation projects, oversee platform/sub-distribution relationships, and implement Sales Management initiatives impacting Institutional funds.
Requirements
University degree or equivalent combination of education/experience required
Two plus years of experience with UCITS (Irish domiciled) Funds
Experience in fund sub-distributor and/or database platform support preferred
Highly developed qualitative and/or quantitative skills required
Ability to analyze various situations and develop creative solutions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to adapt to changes in a fast paced, team environment
Ability to prioritize workload and manage time across various tasks
