Review and govern enterprise network security architectures across internal networks and infrastructure services
Provide architectural oversight and subject matter expertise for Network Detection and Response platforms
Define and review security patterns for infrastructure services
Lead security architecture and control reviews for perimeter and DMZ environments
Assess network, infrastructure, and perimeter security risks and recommend risk-based mitigation strategies
Conduct and support security assessments, architecture reviews, and control evaluations
Drive continuous improvement of network security standards, reference architectures, and control requirements
Develop and maintain clear, audit-ready documentation for security architectures

Requirements

6+ years of experience in Information Security for Financial Institutions (or similar regulated industries)
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat landscapes, and modern attack techniques
Deep expertise in large-scale corporate network environments
Extensive experience with network security technologies such as firewalls, next-generation firewalls, IDS/IPS, web proxies
Strong understanding of business processes, internal controls, IT risk management, and regulatory compliance requirements
Working knowledge of cloud platforms and services, including integration of network security controls in Azure, AWS, or GCP environments
Bachelor’s degree in areas such as IT, Computer Science, IT Security, etc. and/or equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience
