About the role

  • Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle.
  • Customize BASE24 using TAL, prepare unit test plans, and perform unit testing.
  • Interface with technical and development teams to develop solutions.
  • Monitor Production health, propose improvements, and ensure stability.
  • Perform fixes, development projects, and compliance mandates from schemes.
  • Responsible for end-to-end development ensuring quality and clarity of projects.
  • Support SIT and UAT testing for Base24 development projects.
  • Handle technical discussions with external and internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with customer quality standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree/master’s degree in engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology or similar
  • 10+ years of work experience in programming and designing business applications
  • Hands-on experience with Base24 classic (ATM Device Handler, AUTH, HISO, all interchange interface processes, BICI, etc.)
  • Strong domain/product knowledge of Base24 and card payments
  • Excellent in TAL, TACL, SCOBOL & COBOL programming languages
  • Familiar with Tandem utilities like DDL, FUP, ENFORM, SCUP, and ENSCRIBE database
  • Good understanding of ISO8583, ISO 93 message format
  • Experience on usage of XPNET configuration and commands
  • Understanding of Base24 source codes, change and release management, debugging
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills on Base24 ATM, POS, Schemes, BIC ISO, Host ISO interchange interfaces.
  • Knowledge of simulators like ASSET/FINSIM, MasterCard, VISA, Amex etc.
  • Work experience enhancing modules for EMV and Tokenization support.
