About the role
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of complex systems infrastructure to support production services and platform initiatives
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including configurations, operational runbooks, and troubleshooting procedures
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement performance tuning and capacity planning measures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, security, QA, and product) to integrate new technologies and ensure smooth deployments
- Conduct system assessments, implement security controls, and support compliance activities for infrastructure components
- Provide advanced technical support and guidance to resolve incidents and reduce mean time to recovery
- Stay current with industry trends and recommend technology improvements to increase reliability and efficiency
Requirements
- 4+ years’ experience in systems engineering
- Experience with Venafi Trust Protection Platform
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
- Experience with automation tools like Ansible or Terraform
- Experience with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience
- Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation (preferred)
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes (preferred)
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V (preferred)
- Experience with Linux and Windows server environments (preferred)
- Must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role.
